The new building of the Office of the Federal President is located on Spreeweg directly on the Spree between the Great Star with the Victory Column and Bellevue Palace as the official residence of the Federal President.
The elliptical shape of the building, its object-like, sculptural design nestles sensitively into the green area of the Tiergarten.
The elements ellipse and core, which are connected by bridges, define a significant interior space that underlines the importance of the Office of the Federal President in an exciting and impressive way.
Nature and building 'merge' with each other through the use of a dark, polished façade stone through reflection, reflection, colour, light and shadow, but still distinguish themselves from each other.
