Today, single-family homes stand for land grabbing and social monotony. To us, this type of building only seems justified if it serves to densify the existing building. In the centre of the village of Hütschenhausen, an ensemble of nine compact residential buildings was built in the second row instead of dilapidated farm buildings. The small settlement is complemented by three multi-storey buildings along the main street, which enhance the place with areas for housing and medical or social facilities and appeal to different age groups.
