The project was developed in cooperation between Renner Architekten and Bollinger+Fehlig Architekten.
At the site of the primary school, a 3-class extension was built with a total of 15 classrooms and nine partition rooms. The new building complements the existing school offer with new spatial concepts that are based on contemporary pedagogy and new learning methods.
The spatial concept is based on a central hall with a large outdoor staircase and a surrounding gallery as a multifunctional forum. Usable for children and educators as a communication, recreation and play area, the foyer is transformed into an auditorium with a stage in the event of an event. Learning areas of three classrooms are combined with two group rooms and a play corridor to form a modular cluster.
