All private rooms are stacked to form a space-forming sculpture and span a flowing living hall between them, in which shared living can unfold.
On the ground floor, the living hall opens horizontally between the cubes further and further the deeper you go into the house. The vertical air spaces bring light deep into the building even in autumn and winter. From every vantage point, the view goes outside, into the garden, into the treetops and to the lake.
The house is built of solid wood and the shell is the finished surface, which was only painted. In the façade, the spatial sculpture shows itself in a rhythmic alternation of open and closed. Here, wooden slats cover the room cubes and the windows disappear behind translucent shutters.
The timeless materialization shows the mineral substructure, the solid wood construction and the finishing with its immanent qualities.
