New construction of a sports hall with beach volleyball court.
The arrangement and design of the new building was developed from the spatial context. The L-shaped arrangement of the floor plan integrates the beach volleyball facility into the building concept and improves sound insulation to the adjacent residential area. The new building is divided into a tall building with sports hall use and a lower extension for the ancillary rooms. The entrance is emphasised by an incision in the otherwise cubic structure and creates a flowing transition from the outside to the interior in the area of the beach volleyball facility.
