The restrained farm buildings of the Benedictine monastery, built around 1120 in the immediate vicinity, serve as a design reference in their appearance. Conceptually, the space program is divided into two buildings according to the thermal requirements: On the one hand, the unheated garage with a cold basement, and on the other hand, the residential building. The two parts of the building follow the topography in their location and altitude. The garage is located with a small courtyard directly on the street. The higher residential building can be reached via an external staircase. Both buildings had to be concreted for reasons of slope pressure.
