Overlooking the vast landscape, four pavilions form an ensemble on the scale of the Meyrin district. Each pavilion fulfils a specific function and benefits from synergies with the others. A hybrid construction system of concrete and wood gives the architecture a dual identity that integrates this public institution into its context while creating a calm and unique atmosphere inside. Inside, a wooden structure divides the rooms. On the façade, reinforced concrete portals form a permanent framework that fulfils several functions: escape routes, protection from the weather and overheating, structural stability.
