ANCOTECH AG was founded in 1985 by Thomas Mösch and Kurt Blum in Regensdorf/ZH.
As a pure engineering office for anchoring technology, the young company was mainly concerned with the design and solution of anchoring and force application problems.
Shortly after the company was founded, a small production department was put into operation.
In 1990, the Western Switzerland branch was opened near Neuchâtel.
In the following years, ANCOTECH AG developed and patented various reinforcement systems, including the double-head punching shear reinforcement (ancoPLUS),® which is known today as the state of the art, as well as the BARON® screw reinforcements.
As a result of these developments, the forging department in Otelfingen/ZH was put into operation in 1992.
From 1995 onwards, ANCOTECH AG expanded more and more into the areas of stainless steel anchors and transport anchor systems for concrete prefabrication in addition to its core business of "special reinforcements". The customer benefits from the great expertise in the static as well as in the production technology area, which ultimately leads to practical, technically mature and economical solutions.
