Description

illbruck i3 window sealing system offers planners a wide range of products to master the circumferential sealing of window and exterior door connections. In the case of a window seal in accordance with the general rules of construction technology, one speaks of the so-called three-level sealing, which must be planned without gaps around the window. Professional window sealing consists of:

Internal sealing (complete airtightness)
Joint insulation (if possible over the entire joint depth)
Outer sealing (weatherproof, driving rainproof and, if necessary, UV-resistant)

The window and door connections are among the most complex trade interfaces in the construction industry in terms of planning. A very large variety of wall constructions, window layers and materials require a flexible and precisely coordinated product range of various waterproofing components. "i3" comprises components for each of the three sealing levels as a modular system.

The components have been awarded the RAL quality mark "Joint Sealing Components and Systems" and can be freely combined. This meets the requirements of every installation situation envisaged by the planner.

Driving rain tightness: Min. 600 Pa
UV resistance: up to permanent resistance as required
Water vapour diffusion: i3 products are designed to comply with the rule of "denser inside than outside"
Emission test: Healthy building, most products achieve EC1PLUS (GEV)
DGNB: Most products are registered with DGNB; please note the respective criteria matrix and quality level information
