GIMA Clinker Baguettes

The clinker baguettes are the youngest product group of GIMA. The individual clinker elements are "threaded" onto an aluminium pipe and then hung and rear-ventilated on the façade. The result is an exciting mix of classic clinker material in combination with a new type of façade construction.

The unique play of colours of the clinker baguettes is achieved using a special coal-salt firing process. This firing process has become very rare and ensures high resistance to any environmental influences, thus guaranteeing a special longevity of the façade.

Formats:

Traditionally, baguettes are available in square, rectangular, oval or triangular cross-sections. Special elements in other shapes, such as wavy or grooved, are developed in close cooperation with the planner. The individual elements that are assembled to form a baguette can reach up to 600 mm in length. The total length of the baguettes depends on the static conditions of the respective project. The format is also influenced by the intended use. Baguettes can be used as sun protection elements, for the design of closed surfaces, in combination with classic clinker brick facades or as elements for targeted daylight control.
