HALFEN Bracket Anchor HK5

HALFEN GmbH

Description

New masonry bracket with higher load levels and greatly reduced heat transfer

The HK5 bracket anchor from HALFEN with a new design uses less steel than its predecessor.

Facing masonry facades are visually attractive, economical, durable and offer sustainable protection against noise, heat or cold and weather influences. That is why they are still in demand in new construction and renovation construction. The permanently safe construction of the clinker brick façade is ensured by the bracket anchors from HALFEN. They are used to absorb the dead weight of facing masonry shells and to transfer it to the building support shell.

More Over

Lower heat transfer than ever before

When the facing masonry is anchored through the thermal insulation, punctual thermal bridges are created. The improved HK5 bracket anchor can now significantly reduce this compared to the HK4 Thermo. Its optimized shape requires less steel where it matters: in the penetration area of the building insulation. The HK5 Bracket Anchor uses all the advantages of Lean Duplex, a stainless steel of corrosion resistance class III. Due to the choice of material and new design, the HK5 console achieves top chi values confirmed by experts. These values are made available in table form in a user-friendly way for easy use. Further Chi values for individual combinations of wall construction or special insulation materials are available on request. This may reduce insulation and thus increase living space.

Increased load levels – lower costs

Increased load levels of 4.0 kN, 8.0 kN and 12.0 kN instead of 3.5 kN, 7.0 kN and 10.5 kN (HK4) also have a positive effect on the number of consoles required. Fewer brackets mean that installation effort is reduced, transport costs are reduced, less storage space is required on site and the number of thermal bridges is reduced. The HK5 bracket anchor thus makes an important contribution to energy and cost savings.

Easier assembly on the construction site

Thanks to the reduced steel surfaces, the HK5 also weighs less than its predecessor. This makes handling on the construction site easier. Otherwise, the HK5 has continued all the proven advantages of the HALFEN bracket anchors. The infinitely variable height adjustment via an angled perforated plate and the horizontal adjustability are ideally suited to compensate for shell construction tolerances or installation inaccuracies.

The system also ensures good load transfer to the subsoil. The slim design and bending in the lower bracket area ensure high stability. The load-bearing capacities have been proven by type testing and the console head has a building authority approval.

The tested system of the new HK5 Bracket Anchor and the significant improvements in shape, heat transfer and load levels enable builders to build more economically and meet low-energy standards even more easily.

HK5-U

The HK5-U Bracket Anchor is a single bracket anchor with continuous web plate and support plate.

With the attachment of the adjustable bracket anchor HK5-U to the concreted HALFEN rails HTA-CE or the approved HALFEN dowels , an easy-to-install, economical and also safe construction is guaranteed. The above-mentioned load-bearing capacities refer to anchorages

in concrete ≥ C20/25.
