KOROCURE is a liquid, temporary evaporation protection for intermediate post-treatment. To protect the young concrete, intermediate post-treatment measures are required depending on the concrete quality, ambient and weather conditions in accordance with DIN EN 13670:2011-03 in conjunction with DIN 1045-3:3012-03. The intermediate post-treatment protects the water contained in the concrete from evaporation, wind and direct sunlight. This means that there is sufficient water and the cement can be completely hydrated.

Application

Temporary post-treatment with KOROCURE begins immediately and in sections after the concrete has been installed. If the evaporation is greater than the expected bleeding, the intermediate follow-up treatment is carried out as early as possible. The same applies to concrete paving with a W/Z value < 0.5, where the surface must also be protected by an intermediate post-treatment. If it is primarily used as a primer for subsequent hard coatings, KOROCURE must be applied immediately after the concrete is ready to be walked on. No water should stand on the concrete, the surface should be matt damp.

Processing

  • Substrate: Puddles and puddles of water must be removed before starting the follow-up treatment.
  • Processing: KOROCURE should always be stirred well before application. The intermediate post-treatment must be applied in a timely manner, depending on the intended application. KOROCURE is delivered ready for use and applied undiluted as a fine, dense spray mist over a large area with a suitable sprayer. Avoid puddling. The effect of the KOROCURE intermediate post-treatment depends on the uniformity and coherence of the applied film. Before the subsequent KORODUR or NEODUR hard products are applied, the surface treated with KOROCURE must be applied once! After use, the tools should be easily cleaned with clear water.

KOROCURE does not replace the necessary post-treatment of the smoothed KORODUR industrial floor.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry and frost-free container in the original container.

Shelf life approx. 12 months. Close opened containers immediately.
