KORODUR Filling and Spreading Material DUROP

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

Synthetic filling and spreading material

for synthetic resin coatings in road, bridge and industrial floor construction, multi-storey car parks

DUROP is a synthetic mineral material used as a filling and spreading material for synthetic resin systems. The cubic-angular grain from the electrometallurgical melting process is particularly abrasion-resistant and has a good grip. DUROP is available in the following qualities:

  • DUROP 0,5/1
  • ,
  • DUROP 1 /2
  • ,
  • DUROP 2 /3
  • ,
  • DUROP 2 /5

More Over

Application

The wear-resistant, anti-slip, polish-resistant property of DUROP offers a wide range of applications in industrial flooring as well as in road construction. The main areas of application are dairies, breweries, slaughterhouses, wet plants, chem. factories, battery rooms, ramps and parking garages. DUROP is also suitable for roadways, cycle paths, non-slip bridge coatings and crossings, e.g. in airports. DUROP leads to a significant improvement in grip and thus makes a major contribution to reducing accidents. The noticeable effect of the rolling noise reduction is also considered an active noise protection and environmental contribution. In addition, the material is suitable as a grit for bituminous road surfaces to improve the grip of mastic asphalt surface courses (standard construction) in accordance with RSTO 2001.

Properties

  • : wear-resistant
  • ,
  • good cubicity
  • , high polishing value
  • , reduced noise emissions
  • ,
  • optimises the grip of wet surfaces (motorways),
  • environmentally friendly
  • ,
  • physiologically and ecologically harmless,

processing

  • Processing: Processing in different thicknesses according to the specifications of the respective synthetic resin manufacturer / supplier, suitable for almost all synthetic resin systems. For visual requirements, we recommend a top seal (coloured if necessary). This achieves an even appearance or improved use / cleanability. The creation of a test area is recommended. The colour of the material is dark anthracite, depending on the nature of the raw material.
