LevelFlor Floor Levelling Compound

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

Mineral, self-leveling, faster-curing soil levelling compound

LevelFlor is a high-quality, innovative self-levelling levelling compound for indoor and outdoor use based on special cement technology. LevelFlor is faster curing and was designed as a levelling layer. A final surface layer can be applied after 6 - 16 hours (at 20 °C). LevelFlor is suitable for new buildings as well as renovations.

More Over

Application

LevelFlor is a faster-curing, self-levelling levelling compound for interior and exterior use in residential and industrial construction, in composite on cementitious substrates. LevelFlor is load-bearing and an ideal substrate for floor coverings such as linoleum, textile and PVC coverings, laminate, ceramics and natural stone. LevelFlor must always be occupied.

Sustainable construction

The use of LevelFlor reduces the CO2 footprint, increases energy and resource efficiency and conserves natural resources. The production of Rapid Set cement requires 30% less CO2 emissions than conventional Portland cement. For further information (e.g. LEED values) contact KORODUR Contact person

Properties

  • Installation thickness up to 120 mm (see processing)
  • Self-levelling
  • Faster hardening
  • Fast backing Readiness
  • High strength
  • Low stress
  • Mineral
  • easy to mix
  • Pumpable
  • inside and outside

Processing

  • Substrate: Prepare the substrate by milling and/or shot blasting before installation. Any existing cracks, breakouts and damaged joints must be professionally repaired. The substrate must be load-bearing, firm, clean, dry, crack-free and free of loose parts, oils, greases or other adhesion-reducing impurities.

Surface tensile strength:

  • without driving stress: ≥ 1.0 N/mm2
  • with driving stress and/or outdoors: ≥ 1.5 N/mm2
The

requirements of DIN 18365 and DIN 18560 apply. Apply KORODUR PC to the prepared substrate (see data sheet). Or for difficult substrates, apply two-component epoxy resin primer KORODUR TXPK with fire-dried quartz sand grain size 0.4 - 0.8 mm (see data sheet KORODUR TXPK).

  • Processing: Place LevelFlor in a clean, suitable container (e.g. KORODUR 30-litre mixing bucket) and mix with approx. 4.75 l of water using a suitable mixing whisk at least 650 rpm or compulsory mixer (e.g. Collmix LevMix or Hippo-Mixer) for approx. 3 - 5 minutes without lumps and homogeneously. The correct consistency is to be determined by determining the extent of the spread. It is recommended to use the "FLOW Kit" with appropriate instructions. LevelFlor is laid on the prepared and primed substrate in a typical layer thickness of 2 - 70 mm (layer thicknesses of > 70 mm are possible after examination of the framework conditions / agreement with the KORODUR application technology). LevelFlor levels out within the 15-minute flow time. In order to apply the material evenly, the use of a suitable squeegee is recommended. To remove air pockets, the surface that is still flowable must be treated with a spiked roller. To achieve the planned target strength, we recommend setting height marks or other suitable measures. During the application, the entire surface must be protected from drying out too quickly against wind, draughts, sunlight, etc. until the time it can be walked on. Air and material temperatures above 20 °C can accelerate the setting and strength behavior. The processing must be coordinated with this. It is advisable to use mixing water that is as cold as possible. Air and material temperatures below 20 °C can slow down the setting and strength behavior, especially with thinner layer thicknesses. We recommend warming up the material and/or mixing water.

Aftertreatment

Different temperatures influence the solidification or hardening process. Under normal conditions at + 20 °C, no follow-up treatment is required. For outdoor installations, we recommend applying a fine water mist to the freshly set surface as soon as possible without damaging the surface. After-treatment with water should be continued for at least 1 hour. Excessively dry, windy, hot or sunny conditions should be avoided.

Joints

All joints in the substrate must be taken over in the coating. LevelFlor must be separated from rising components (walls, columns, etc.).

Delivery form

25 kg paper special packaging
