NEODUR Hard Screed HE 65

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

Mineral hard screed

for coating concrete floors with the highest stress

NEODUR HE 65 is a ready-to-use, cement-bound hard screed based on KORODUR hard materials in accordance with DIN 1100 (Group A and KS) in the qualities

  • NEODUR HE 65: based on KORODUR VS 0/5
  • NEODUR HE 65 SVS 3: based on KORODUR WH-Special
  • NEODUR HE 65 SVS 1.5: on the basis of KORODUR diamond concrete

processing single-layer as a composite screed for the highest loads according to DIN 18560-7. Also available in colour, see KORODUR colour chart.

Application

For the production of heavy-duty industrial floors, e.g. multi-storey car parks, industrial halls, assembly halls, aircraft hangars, workshops, high-bay warehouses and other industrial areas with the highest loads. For indoor and outdoor use.

Properties

  • : highly wear-resistant even under the heaviest loads
  • ,
  • high surface tightness
  • , resistant to gasoline, mineral oil, solvents
  • ,
  • lift-resistant
  • , waterproof, suitable for wet rooms,
  • non-slip, anti-slip,
  • anti-slip, frost and de-icing salt,
  • electrostatic, non-rechargeable
  • ,
  • chloride-free,
  • physiologically and ecologically harmless
  • ,
  • pumpable
  • Consistent quality through quality assurance in accordance with DIN EN 13813

Processing

fresh on fresh:

  • Substrate: The load-bearing concrete must be produced at least as C 25/30 in accordance with DIN EN 206 (Attention: no use of air-void concrete!). Produce the surface in a height-appropriate manner within the tolerance limit according to DIN 18202. For intermediate post-treatment of the load-bearing concrete, we recommend KOROCURE (see data sheet). The fresh load-bearing concrete that has just been walked on is rubbed off with a plate smoothing machine.
  • Processing: Mix NEODUR HE 65 with the specified amount of water for approx. 3 minutes, depending on the type of processing, and apply it to the fresh, previously cleared surface, pull off via gauges (round bars) using an aluminium straightener or vibrating plank and rub it off in a timely manner using a plate troweling machine to close the pores and smooth it according to the required surface structure (leaf troweling machine).

on hardened load-bearing concrete:

  • Substrate: The load-bearing concrete (at least C 25/30, surface tensile strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm²) must be prepared, e.g. milling and shot blasting. For a force-fit composite, the surface must be crack-free, even, free of loose and crumbly components and ultra-fine mortar enrichments, as well as rough and open-pored. The requirements of DIN 18365 and DIN 18560 apply. The flatness should comply with DIN 18202, Table 3, Line 3. Thoroughly pre-wet load-bearing concrete one day before installation, avoid puddling. Apply KORODUR HB 5 adhesive bridge to the matt damp surface (see data sheet).
  • Processing: NEODUR HE 65 is laid "fresh on fresh" in a layer thickness of 15 mm (see data sheet KORODUR-KOROTAN).

Aftertreatment

Different temperatures influence the solidification or hardening process. NEODUR HE 65 must be protected from drying out too quickly in accordance with DIN EN 13670 / DIN 1045-3. For post-treatment of the NEODUR hard coating, we recommend the products KOROMINERAL CURE or KOROTEX (see data sheets). If subsequent surface treatment, coating or markings are planned, the post-treatment should only be carried out with film.

Joints

The joint grid must be specified by the planner. All joints in the hardened load-bearing concrete are to be taken over in the hard material layer. The hard screed must be separated from rising components (walls, columns, etc.).
