RÖFIX ZS30 ZS Flowing Screed CA/CT-C30-F6

RÖFIX AG

Description

Flowing screed indoors in residential buildings, including domestic kitchens and bathrooms, schools, gyms, offices, storage rooms, etc.

Particularly suitable for hot water underfloor heating. As a screed in the renovation of old houses and as a useful screed in attics because of its low dead weight due to its low installation thickness.

Generally approved up to moisture load class W3, but also for domestic bathrooms, which fall into class W4 due to a floor drain at the same level (special attention must be paid to standard-compliant waterproofing!)

In the case of utility or visible screeds, a separate clarification with the manufacturer is required.

As a floating screed without reinforcement, the maximum area size of 300 m² must be observed.

Processing conditions

  • During the processing and drying phase, the ambient or substrate temperature must not fall below +7 °C. Protect against frost until it dries through, dry out quickly (direct sunlight, foehn wind) and subsequent moisture penetration (rain).

Substrate pre-treatment

  • using a laser or hose spirit level, a metre crack must be made before the start of the subfloor construction
  • RÖFIX cement-sulphate flowing screeds (ZS) on components in contact with the ground (e.g. in basements): The component must be sealed accordingly in accordance with the given circumstances and in accordance with the guidelines
  • in the case of unevenness of the raw ceiling as well as in the case of pipelines on the raw ceiling, a bound compensating fill (e.g. RÖFIX 831 or RÖFIX 830) is recommended
  • to prevent sound bridges it is important that edge insulation strips with foil flap (10 mm thickness) are attached to all ascending wall elements
  • To avoid harmful vapour diffusion from the subsoil, measures must be taken by installing sufficiently vapour-proof films
  • Heating pipes must be filled and pressed off during the screed installation. They must be fastened in such a way that they prevent floating and do not create sound bridges.

  • Special binder
  • Selected gypsum
  • Additives to improve processing properties
  • Classified sands
