GIMA Acoustic Tiles

Girnghuber GmbH

Description

The GIMA acoustic tile is made of fired clay. Due to the material composition, the preparation and the firing temperature of around 1150° Celsius, it is qualitatively classified as facing bricks.

Through a special process during production, GIMA has succeeded

in using the positive influences of the firing process. The burning skin is not injured and the protective coat is thus preserved. At the same time, however, a "deburred surface" is created that has a special aesthetic.

Technical Information

The GIMA sound insulation system is an economical, future-oriented and high-quality solution. In particular, the sound energy with the frequencies of about 250 to over 4000 Hz, which are decisive for noise development, is absorbed by almost 100%. This means that the tested GIMA sound insulation systems can be classified as highly absorbent. The sophisticated aesthetics and the high degree of functionality are the result. Based on DIN EN 771/DIN 20000-401 and ZTV-Lsw 06, the test is carried out for dimensions, web thicknesses, brick and cullet density, hole content, water absorption, frost resistance and stone throw resistance.

Depending on the intended use, the acoustic tiles are produced with oblique or horizontal perforations. In our product folder you will find exemplary technical drawings of the different variants and the product structure. Get inspired for your next project.
