Application
MORTAR MIX is a multifunctional quick-repair mortar suitable for concrete repair, stucco and plaster repair, single-layer exterior plaster, levelling layers, formwork work and for the repair of roadways. Can be used indoors and outdoors, even in wet areas. MORTAR MIX can be processed horizontally, vertically and overhead.
Sustainable construction
The use of MORTAR MIX reduces the CO2 footprint, increases energy and resource efficiency and conserves natural resources. The production of Rapid Set cement requires 30% less CO2 emissions than conventional Portland cement. For further information (e.g. LEED values) contact KORODUR Contact
Properties
In the case of high grinding wear, MORTAR MIX is also available in the quality MORTAR MIX SVS 5 with wear carrier in accordance with DIN 1100 Group A (KORODUR VS 0/5) for floor renovations > 15 mm on request.
After-treatment
with water must be carried out immediately as soon as the surface has lost its damp shine and should be carried out repeatedly within one hour until the product has reached sufficient strength. If longer setting times occur, if temperatures are too low or if a retardant agent is used, longer post-treatment times may be necessary.
