Description

mineral, microsilica-treated spray mortar/concrete

for the dry spraying process in the drinking water sector

MICROTOP TW 3 / TW 5 / TW 8 are hydraulically setting, microsilica-tempered spray mortars/concrete for the dry spraying/thin-phase process in the drinking water sector and comply with the DVGW worksheets type 1, W 300 and W 347.

  • MICROTOP TW 3: Microsilica Spray Mortar Grain 0 - 3 mm

  • MICROTOP TW 8: Microsilica Shotcrete Grain 0 - 8 mm

More Over

Application

For the production of spray mortar/concrete in the dry spraying process, for the reprofiling and coating of surfaces as well as for increasing the concrete cover and finish in the drinking water sector. The materials are processed in a single layer and can be easily rubbed, smoothed and small jobs can be carried out by hand.

Properties

  • microsilica-coated
  • Low modulus of elasticity
  • Low pore volume
  • open to water vapour diffusion
  • Impermeable to water
  • Chloride-free Abrasion
  • and smoothable
  • Machine

sprayable

  • Substrate: The load-bearing concrete/old plaster (adhesive tensile strength at least ≥ 1.5 N/mm2) must always be blasted, preferably with HD water ≥ 1,000 bar. For a force-fit composite, the surface must be crack-free, even, free of loose and crumbly components and ultra-fine mortar enrichments, as well as rough and open-pored. Pre-wet the substrate thoroughly one day before processing.
  • Processing: The application to the matt damp surface is carried out in accordance with DIN 18551 by thin-phase conveying, both pre-wetted and dry. The W/Z value of ≤ 0.5 must be observed. The test is carried out by means of a kiln test.

The

air conditioning of the water chambers to prevent condensation must be ensured until the applied material has achieved sufficient mechanical strength. By using humidifiers, the relative humidity must be kept at 95% for at least 10 days after application. The heat input must not exceed 20 °C. Draughts and major air movements are to be avoided.
