KORODUR Rapid Screed Binder FSCem

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

Volume-stable, cementitious quick-screed binder

on a ternary basis in accordance with DIN 18560 and EN 13813

KORODUR FSCem is a cementitary, volume-stable quick-screed binder on a ternary basis for the production of heavy-duty, fast-to-use and installation-friendly screeds in accordance with DIN 18560 and EN 13813 (strength classes CT-C40-F6 to CT-C50-F7).

More Over

Application

For the production of cement screeds that can be quickly covered indoors and outdoors

  • in a composite
  • on a separating layer
  • on an insulating layer
  • as a heating screed

As a substrate for the installation of KORODUR/NEODUR screeds, KORODUR exposed screeds, coatings, tiles, natural stone slabs, cast concrete stone slabs, parquet, laminate as well as elastic and textile coverings. KORODUR FSCem can also be used to produce wear-resistant floor screeds, e.g. with KORODURVS 0/5 hard material aggregate. KORODUR FSCem is also suitable for repairing and renovating old concrete floors, repairing cementitious substrates before screed installation, and setting ground anchors and fence posts.

Properties

  • : faster curing,
  • quick-drying,
  • volume stable,
  • almost shrinkage- and stress-free
  • , crack-free, hardening,
  • shortened construction time
  • ,
  • quickly usable and verifiable
  • , waterproof, suitable for wet rooms,
  • electrostatic, non-rechargeable
  • ,
  • non-flammable, physiological
  • and ecologically harmless
  • ,
  • pumpable

Processing

  • Mixing: Always mix KORODUR FSCem homogeneously with a compulsory mixer with screed sand 0/8 mm (according to EN 13139, grading curve A8 - B8) and cold, clean water. Set the stiff plastic consistency, taking into account the moisture of the aggregate. When using screed compressed air conveyors, the recommended filling quantities of the respective machine manufacturer must be observed. When installed in a composite, KORODUR VS 0/5 hard material can alternatively be used as an aggregate to increase wear resistance.
  • General processing instructions: Quickly apply, compact, peel and smooth KORODUR FSCem rapid screed in an even layer thickness. For mechanical smoothing, only use hand-held single-disc smoothing machines. Only advance as much area as can be processed within the processing time. Edge and movement joints are to be adopted. Higher temperatures shorten, lower temperatures increase processing time. For outdoor surfaces, in draughts or with low humidity, the rapid screed must be protected with foil to prevent it from drying out too quickly. The readiness for installation must be ensured by checking the residual moisture with the CM device.
  • Underfloor heating: Heating can be carried out from the third day after installation with a flow temperature of + 25 °C. For further procedures and information, see the corresponding standards and leaflets, e.g. BEB leaflet "Interface coordination for surface heating and cooling systems in new buildings".

When

used as a composite screed, all joints in the load-bearing concrete must be adopted. The screed must be separated from rising components (walls, columns, etc.).
