NEODUR Industrial Flooring Level

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

mineral, self-leveling, faster-curing industrial flooring (thin screed)

for the production of wear layers

NEODUR Level is a ready-to-use, cement-bonded, mineral, fast-curing, polymer-modified, self-leveling industrial flooring (thin screed) with wear carrier based on KORODUR hard materials for layer thicknesses from 5 to 30 mm.

More Over

Application

For the production of direct wear layers in a composite on mineral substrates made of concrete or cement screeds as industrial flooring for new construction and renovation, e.g. of technical and storage rooms, production halls, underground car parks, sales rooms, etc. For indoor and outdoor use.

Sustainable construction

The use of NEODUR Level reduces the CO2 footprint, increases energy and resource efficiency and conserves natural resources. The production of the binder requires 30% less CO2 emissions than conventional Portland cement. For further information, please contact the responsible KORODUR contact person.

Properties

  • easy to mix
  • highly
  • flowable
  • pumpable
  • faster hardening
  • early walkable
  • highly resilient
  • low-stress

Processing

  • Substrate: Prepare cement substrate by milling and/or shot blasting before installation. Existing cracks, breakouts and damaged joints must be repaired professionally. The substrate must be load-bearing, firm, clean, dry, crack-free and free of loose parts, oils, greases or other adhesion-reducing impurities.

Surface tensile strength:

  • without driving stress ≥ 1.0 N/mm2
  • with driving stress and/or outdoors ≥ 1.5 N/mm2 The

requirements of DIN 18365 and DIN 18560 apply. Apply KORODUR PC primer to the prepared substrate, for processing see KORODUR PC data sheet.

  • Processing: Place NEODUR Level in a clean, suitable container (e.g. KORODUR 30-litre mixing bucket) and mix with approx. 4.5 l to 5.0 l of water using a suitable mixing whisk at least 650 rpm or compulsory mixer (e.g. Collmix LevMix or Hippo mixer) for approx. 3 - 5 minutes without tubers and homogeneously. Commercially available screw pumps (e.g. Duo-Mix 2000 or inoCOMP Cabrio) and continuously operating mixing pumps (width dimension according to DIN EN 12706 = approx. 13 - 14 mm with cylinder/measuring tube with d = 32 mm and h = 51 mm) are suitable for machine processing. Do not use a mixing technique that introduces large amounts of air. In order to apply the material evenly, the use of a suitable squeegee is recommended. To remove air pockets, the surface that is still flowable must be treated with a suitable spiked roller. Maintain material temperature ≥ 10 °C. Mixed NEODUR level should be applied within 30 minutes.

Aftertreatment

Different temperatures influence the solidification or hardening process. NEODUR Level must be protected against rapid drying out, draughts, direct sunlight and heat in accordance with DIN EN 13670 / DIN 1045-3. The air and soil temperature must be ≥ 8 °C during processing and one week afterwards. After drying/walkability, we recommend suitable impregnation or care. This leads to an increase in chemical resistance, has a moisture- and dirt-repellent effect, optimises the appearance and leads to a dust-free surface.

Joints

All joints in the substrate are to be applied in the NEODUR Level wear layer. The NEODUR Level Screed must be separated from rising components (walls, columns, etc.).

Delivery form

25 kg paper special packaging
