Application

For the production of highly wear-resistant spray mortars using the dry spraying process, for new construction and repair, e.g. for concrete surfaces (e.g. coal, tailings and other raw material bunkers, silo tanks, etc.) that are exposed to increased wear. For indoor and outdoor use. The materials can be rubbed and smoothed.

Processing

• Substrate: The load-bearing concrete (surface tensile strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm2) must be prepared. Clean the surface, remove loose parts such as dust and cement sludge down to the load-bearing substrate and, if necessary, roughen them. Remove loose reinforcement and, if necessary, insert new reinforcement without vibration. Pre-wet the substrate thoroughly until capillary saturation.

• Processing: The application to the matt damp surface is carried out in accordance with DIN 18551 in the dry spraying process. A homogeneous spray pattern, low rebound and optimal concrete quality are achieved by uniform circular movements of the spray nozzle at a distance of approx. 1 m and an angle of 90° to the wall.

Aftertreatment

Different temperatures influence the solidification or hardening process. NEODUR spray mortars must be protected from drying out too quickly in accordance with DIN EN 13670 / DIN 1045-3.

Storage

Store in a dry place like cement. Shelf life approx. 6 months.
