The adhesive coating on the surface ensures optimal plaster adhesion. The adhesive coating is suitable for mechanical adhesive application and contributes to a significant improvement in installation. In the case of manual application, press filling can be dispensed with.
On
the marked side of the panel, apply a circumferential mortar bead at the edge of the panel and adhesive dots in the middle so that a bonding of at least 40% is achieved. When gluing, push the insulation board slightly back and forth (float in) several times to ensure sufficient bonding to the substrate.
Full-surface bonding can also be carried out on a flat surface: On the marked side of the board, apply the adhesive mortar to the insulation board over the entire surface with the toothed trowel.
Mechanical bonding of the insulation boards by applying the adhesive to the wall is not permitted.
Avoid penetration of adhesive mortar into the insulation board joints. Open panel joints up to 5 mm wide can be filled with filling foam B1, panel joints >5 mm or defects must be filled with mineral wool insulation material.
