ERLUS AG is one of the leading manufacturers of roof ceramics and chimney systems in Germany. With around 570 employees, we are also one of the largest in the industry, producing exclusively in Germany.
ERLUS can look back on a company history of around 180 years and benefits from its wealth of experience in the processing of ceramic building materials. Our company is based in Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria. With Ergoldsbach - the namesake of our Ergoldsbach roof tiles - there is another location in the region. The third production site is located in Teistungen in Thuringia, also an area with a ceramic tradition.
History
The ERLUS brand stands for reliably high product quality "Made in Germany". This is due to the knowledge of our employees and the willingness to continuously invest in innovative technology and product developments.
The aesthetic shapes of Ergoldsbach's roof tiles have continuously earned ERLUS design awards over the past decades. The stylish, functional design and the high product quality make our roofs so special and a property very valuable.

With the new developments of its chimney systems, ERLUS continues to demonstrate its innovative strength and surprises the industry. The ERLUS Edelkeramikrohr is incomparable in terms of material quality and technical properties.
Chimney Systems
We monitor the market very closely and listen to our customers. In this way, we receive impulses for new solutions. One of our most recent launches is the new Via Vento S ventilation network. The ventilation shaft of Via Vento S is so narrow that it fits into any 17.5 cm thick wall. This saves space and makes planning easier.
Ventilation
Responsible action and good service are a matter of course for ERLUS. The satisfaction of our customers and economic success are what drive us. In order to be able to reliably keep our quality promise, we at ERLUS introduced the quality management system in 1996 and certified it according to DIN EN ISO 9001. Since then, our operational processes have been continuously optimized and reassessed again and again through annual monitoring and repeat audits.
Quality
The ceramic products from ERLUS are natural products. That is why we feel a special obligation to the environment: We carefully select mining areas, recultivate them, pay attention to short transport routes and environmentally friendly fuels. This makes economic sense and preserves the living environment of future generations.
