DEPPE is an innovative and efficient brickworks with tradition. The Deppe family has been producing clinker bricks and bricks at its current location in Lemke near Uelsen in the county of Bentheim since 1888. Previously, August Deppe had operated a brickyard in Bauerhausen near Uelsen for about a quarter of a century before he acquired the plant at its current location. Now his great-great-grandson Dr. Dirk Deppe runs the medium-sized company. Our clinker products contain the know-how of five generations.
DEPPE is not a group with many locations, but the charm of a family business prevails here. Our employees, some of whom have been with us for decades, who are there for their company with commitment and heart, have played a particularly large part in our success.
Especially in the last decade, DEPPE has invested heavily to produce new types of brick, achieve more flexibility in the production process and become more efficient. Today, DEPPE produces more clinker bricks than ever before at the highest quality level. At full capacity, approx. 25 million bricks (based on the NF format) are produced.
Due to this fact, DEPPE has been able to increase its export quota to around 30%, with the Netherlands currently being one of the most important export trading partners. One of DEPPE's main strengths is the variety of products and the flexibility of production. This means that your special requests can be processed individually and quickly.
In 2005, Dr. Dirk Deppe, who holds a doctorate in engineering, succeeded his father, Wilhelm Deppe, into the management and has been managing the company as sole managing director since 2009.
