For the vast majority of products, all production steps are carried out by the SWISS KRONO Group, from the selection of suitable wood to final production.

In line with the SWISS KRONO way of working, experience is regularly exchanged between the national companies and successful new developments are transferred to other markets. Sustainability
The Group obtains its raw materials exclusively from sustainable wood sources. The production processes in all plants are subject to the highest efficiency standards and are regularly audited by independent institutions. As an internationally active group, the SWISS KRONO Group works tirelessly to improve all production and business processes from a technical and ecological point of view. The company is thus continuously investing in the further development of its existing plants.
History
The roots of the SWISS KRONO GROUP lie in the company founded in 1966 by Ernst Kaindl in Menznau, Switzerland. Equipped with entrepreneurial spirit and vision, he developed the foundation for today's group with an international profile. The first plant outside Switzerland was opened in France more than 30 years ago. Branches in Germany, Poland and the USA followed. At the turn of the millennium, there were three plants in Ukraine and locations in Russia and Hungary.
Management The values of the company's founder, Ernst Kaindl, are still formative for the SWISS KRONO Group today. Martin Brettenthaler, CEO and Chairman of the Group Executive Board, is in charge of operations.
