Although our company was only founded in 1957 by today's senior boss Hans Timm, it is already one of the "old-established" Berlin family businesses.
Over the past 55 years, the former Timm joinery has developed into one of the leading German window manufacturers in the contract business.
The former shop joinery is now a medium-sized company that develops tailor-made solution concepts for economical, energy-efficient and material-friendly window and façade constructions for the building envelope. The traditional workbench has given way to state-of-the-art, CNC-controlled machines that can produce any product imaginable with the highest precision.
In the meantime, high-quality wood, wood-aluminium, aluminium, steel and security windows as well as exclusive façade elements are produced on 14,400 m² of production space at three locations in Berlin-Marienfelde and with over 120 employees. Through a research project in cooperation with the Berlin Senate and the European Union, the complete renovation of historic window constructions has been added as a further division of the company in recent years.
Hans Timm Fensterbau has always successfully met the ever-increasing requirements in window and façade construction.
The expertise, craftsmanship, but above all the curiosity and determination of the senior partner Hans Timm are the basis of the success story of windows made in Berlin.
In close cooperation with architects and builders, many special constructions were developed, which have led to the company's excellent reputation beyond the city limits, but above all have also shaped the cityscape in Berlin.
The two sons Detlef Timm and Bernd Timm as well as the grandson Bastian Timm have been successfully continuing the life's work of the senior boss for years.
