Die Dachelemente wurden als vorgefertigte Elemente konzipiert und im Werk vormontiert. Dadurch konnte die Montagezeit erheblich reduziert werden. Die Dachelemente wurden auf ihre maximale Länge optimiert, d.h. die Elemente reichen von der Traufe bis zum First. Das entspricht einer Größe von ca. 16,80m auf 2,70m. Dadurch konnte der Montageaufwand so gering wie möglich gehalten werden. Der Aufbau ergibt sich wie folgt (von oben nach unten):

Witterungsschutz und dadurch erhöhte Ausführungsqualität.
Ein großer Vorteil der maximalen Vorfertigung ist die witterungsgeschützte Fertigung der Einzel-Elemente im Werk, wodurch die Langlebigkeit des Holzbaus stark erhöht wird. Doch auch der Schutz der bereits errichteten Holzbauelemente während der Bauphase und die Planung der Montageabläufe gehörten zu einer exakten Vorplanung.
Tragwerksplaner und Architekten schlugen vorgefertigten Notdächer vor. Der Vorschlag wurde von der ausführenden Firma für das Klassenhaus 1 übernommen, stellte sich jedoch als unpraktisch und schwer umsetzbar heraus. Beim Klassenhaus 2 und bei der Aula wurden die Folien traditionell auf die montierten Deckenelemente aufgebracht.
