Door leaves with a honeycomb filling, usually made of cardboard honeycombs, are usually used as particularly inexpensive elements within apartments if there are no increased technical requirements for the door (e.g. fire protection, sound insulation, wet room, mechanical stress). Due to the low stability compared to other door leaf structures, it is usually not possible to create a light cut-out in the door leaf.
