Telephony silencer

If several rooms are supplied with several individual branches via a wiring harness, a telephony silencer must be used between the neighbouring rooms to avoid sound transmission under the rooms. It is usually integrated into the pipe network as an intermediate piece and consists of a spiral seam pipe with mineral wool insulation. The increase in the pipe diameter due to insulation must be taken into account in the space required and the height of suspended ceilings. In the case of slotted outlets, the silencer can also be installed as a flush-mounted box directly behind the ventilation slot.
