Top made of boards made of dried solid wood (mainly coniferous) lined up on edge. The individual boards are connected to each other by gluing or mechanically via nails, dowels or screws. The board stacking plate is extremely resilient. It is used in timber construction as a load-bearing element for floor ceilings (board stack ceiling), for roofs and in walls.
In wood-concrete composite construction, the board stacking plate serves as a carrier plate for floor slabs.
