Cold Self-Adhesive Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane (KSK)

Cold self-adhesive bitumen waterproofing membranes (abbreviation KSK) consist of a carrier film with bitumen adhesive compound. They are cold glued and are waterproof immediately after application. After peeling off the carrier foil with the self-adhesive surface, the strips are glued to the previously applied primer. However, it is not possible to use it in the case of accumulating leachate or pressing water. Even in high-quality basement rooms, the system alone is not suitable as an external seal, as the μ value is too low, so that water vapour diffusion cannot be ruled out to a limited extent.
