Prefabricated clinker elements, such as lintel and window sill elements, consist of a concrete core and clinker brick slips, which can be attached (e.g. glued) in various ways.
An innovative method of fastening clinker for precast elements is the so-called dovetail toothing, which is used for prefabricated clinker elements from GIMA. This particularly strong interlocking guarantees a 100% secure hold between the concrete core and the ceramic shell. It ensures an optimal mechanical bond between clinker and concrete and prevents structural damage.
