In order to distribute the air between the rooms, the air flow into the overflow areas such as the hallway, hallway or ancillary rooms must be guaranteed. This requires overcurrent openings, which are usually housed in the room door. The simplest option is door leaves, which have a larger gap at the bottom (approx. 2 cm), which, however, deteriorates the sound insulation between the rooms. Another solution is offered by door frames that have an overflow area above the door between the surrounding frame and the shell opening. There are also special lowerable door seals that are mounted at the bottom of the door leaf and ensure overflow. The best sound insulation is provided by wall-integrated overflow openings with built-in silencers, but these usually have to be taken into account during the shell construction planning.
