Ventilation unit with regenerative rotary heat exchanger

In the regenerative rotary heat exchanger, a heat storage package consisting of aluminium fins rotates around its own axis at approx. 5 to 20 revolutions/minute. Supply and exhaust air flow through the centrally located lamella rotor in separate ducts, so that the heating of the storage tank is possible on one half and the transfer of heat to the supply air on the other half. Along the partition wall, the rotation of the rotary accumulator can lead to smaller air mixes.
