Roofing panels (UDP) are water-impermeable, permeable wood fibre or fibre cement boards and are laid freely spanning over the rafters or on dimensionally stable insulation. They are usually an additional measure for rain safety.
Sub-roof panels are used to seal the exterior or wind of a building. The design takes place as groove or seam and butt formation. A sub-roof slab forms a second water-bearing level under the roof covering. It protects the roof structure from moisture from the outside. It is used either only during the construction phase as a preliminary or temporary cover during the period of outdoor weathering or as a measure for the entire duration of use.
In insulated constructions, a sub-roof panel serves as protection above the insulation. At the same time, it also takes on the function of a wind seal.
The following materials are used:
case of grooved boards, further sealing of the joints can be dispensed with.
