100% natural cork for façade insulation
The Aglocork MD façade system has been specially developed for the thermal and acoustic insulation of facades . The cork remains completely untreated, without coating or post-treatment.
Aglocork MD facades are an excellent, 100% natural insulation material created by the fusion of suberin, the main component of cork . Through a roasting process, the resins naturally contained in the bark act as a natural glue and form the panels without chemical additives.
This dynamic material mimics the protection that the cork oak offers in its natural state and changes color when exposed to the sun. It brightens in summer and darkens slightly in winter, reflecting or absorbing sunlight depending on the season.
Thanks to its excellent thermal insulation and higher density, it has the necessary hardness for outdoor applications.
Aglocork façade panels can be provided with an overlap groove to facilitate installation and avoid thermal bridges. They are attached to the façade by means of mechanical fasteners or the breathable, hydraulic lime adhesive Isovit e-Cork MD .
Aglocork MD façades offer excellent thermal and acoustic insulation and thus make a significant contribution to living comfort.
The material's diverse design options allow designers and architects to give free rein to their creativity and create unique, individual facades.
