Aerated concrete, heavy flat stone

The flat block is the most common aerated concrete block and is available in almost all stone formats and stone widths. They are always bricked with thin-bed mortar and, due to their heat-insulating properties, are also suitable for monolithic exterior walls, i.e. a design without additional insulation layers. Depending on the selected bulk density, bricks with different λ values and different static properties are available, so that the heavy flat blocks listed here are also suitable for walls with high static loads. For a wall with high demands on thermal insulation, a light flat block must be used as an alternative or an additional heat-insulating outer shell must be applied as a thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) or curtain wall ventilated façade (VHF).
