In
the event of a fire, fire dampers close automatically and thus prevent the spread of the fire and the transmission of smoke through air ducts to adjacent fire compartments. In the event of a fire, the triggering is carried out by capillary tube sensors with a tripping temperature of 72 °C and interruption of the power supply to the holding magnets. If voltage is applied to the holding magnets, the fire damper can be brought into the open position with the adjustment lever. The release device is accessible from the outside and can be tested.
