DELTA-PVC® Masonry Barrier

Ewald Dörken AG

Description

Wall barrier membrane made of PVC-P according to EN 14909. The wall barrier membrane is particularly suitable for use as an L-barrier and under walls that are not subject to shear loads. As such, it protects the foot area of double-shell wall constructions from rising damp. Not bitumen-compatible.

Advantages

  • High flexibility
  • The DELTA® PVC masonry barrier is also highly flexible when laid over corners and adapts securely to the course of the wall. The wall barrier membrane can also be used in the area of lintels and parapets in double-shell masonry.
  • Rot-proof
  • The DELTA® PVC masonry barrier is resistant to common influences in masonry/soil and is therefore permanently functionally reliable.

Application

DELTA-PVC® masonry barrier is laid as cross-sectional waterproofing under walls that are not subjected to lateral pressure on both sides in the mortar bed. The minimum overlap between the strips is at least 20 cm (at least 5 cm when glued with DELTA-THAN® ).

In the application as an L-barrier, the wall barrier membrane is guided up to 30 cm above OK terrain (plan dimension) or > 15 cm above OK terrain (final state) on the inner shell and mechanically attached to the upper edge. The bonding there is done with the permanently elastic cartridge adhesive DELTA-THAN®.
