OKAPANE Light-diffusing insulating panels

Okalux Glastechnik GmbH

Description

OKAPANE light-diffusing insulating panels are translucent light-diffusing capillary plates, covered on both sides with additional inserts made of glass fibre fleeces.

More Over

Building physics properties:

Thermal insulation

The OKAPANE insert reduces heat transfer in the space between the panes in terms of convection and heat radiation. Therefore, as the thickness of the OKAPANE insert increases, the Ug value improves.

OKAPANE sound insulation

decouples the panes of the insulating glazing and improves sound insulation.

The

special light-scattering properties of the OKAPANE result in an optimally uniform light emission into the room, regardless of the irradiation conditions.

The special geometry of the capillary material OKAPANE means that an improvement in thermal insulation through higher insert thicknesses does not lead to a significant drop in light transmission.

UV protection

Very low UV transmission can be achieved on request.

Technical values Standard types

The following information refers to double-skinned profiled glass with an upholstered profile. The OKAPANE is usually arranged on the outside lane.
