Description

Balconies with waterproofing membranes made of bitumen or plastic are often uninsulated or with thermal insulation, so that one-piece or two-part drains are used. In order to safely drain tile or slab coverings, drains with two drainage levels are usually used.

Series H includes one-piece and two-piece balcony drains with factory-clamped connection sleeve for on-site connection to waterproofing membranes. As standard, the H series is made of hot-dip galvanized steel with additional coating. On request , solid copper production is also possible.

The

standard connection sleeve consists of a bitumen/EPDM composite and will be delivered if no further information is provided when ordering. On request, connection sleeves made of PVC or ECB can be pre-assembled at the factory. An overview of the available materials is contained in our Aktuell 190. If a different connection sleeve is required, please be sure to specify the desired connection sleeve when ordering .

H series drains are available as single drain or direct drain , depending on whether the drain is installed on the top balcony or on the balconies below:

Hot-dip galvanized steel is generally non-combustible (building material class A1). Therefore, all H Series drains are ideally suited for preventive fire protection. If even higher fire protection requirements are required, special Series H direct fire protection drains have been developed, which also met the strict R90 requirements in the fire test.
