illbruck SP351 Window Mounting Adhesive

Description

SP351 is a 1-component, special hybrid adhesive for stress-compensating bonding of different materials in window construction (e.g. window sill fastening). SP351 is particularly suitable when a high initial adhesion is required during assembly.

SP351 is used in burglar-resistant installation as a pressure-resistant rear block (so-called "spray block"), for which corresponding tests according to DIN EN 1627-1630 up to RC3 are available.

SP351 is compatible with the illbruck SP925 waterproofing coating and sealing tapes of the illbruck TP series.

 

Due to the very low-emission recipe, it is ideally suited for interior design.

  • Temperature resistance: - 40°C to + 90°C (short-term up to +200°C)
  • Tensile strength: 3.0 N/mm²
  • Compressive strength: 0.76 N/mm² (according to ift method)
  • Volume loss: 3.40% (DIN 52 451)
  • Corrosiveness: non-corrosive
  • DGNB: Registration Code: CE4XCL; Criteria Matrix No.13 – Quality Level 4, VOC < 1%; halogenated propellants< 0.1%; Chlorinated paraffins < 0.1%
  • Very low emission: EC1Plus (GEV)
  • Form of delivery: cartridge or foil bag

SP351 is part of our i3 waterproofing system and can therefore be combined with many other waterproofing products. For waterproofing with our i3 system, we offer a 10-year functional warranty (see data sheet).

Design (more detailed information can be found in the data sheet)

  • The adhesive surfaces must always be clean, i.e. dust-free, grease-free, load-bearing and dry.
  • Check compatibility with the building materials used.
  • If necessary, the adhesive surfaces must be pre-treated with a suitable illbruck primer.
  • The joining of both substrates as well as the adjustment of the bonding must be done within the skin formation time.
  • Depending on the requirements, the adhesive gap after joining can be between at least 1 and max. 6 mm.
  • The time until complete curing depends on humidity and temperature
