Description

Impregnated and pre-compressed joint sealing tape BG 1 (DIN 18542) for the external sealing of window connections with a wide range of applications. With a maximum of three hinge dimensions, the common window connection joint widths from 5 to 24 mm are sealed.

TP602 is part of our i3 sealing system and can therefore be combined with many other sealing products. For waterproofing with our i3 system, we offer a 10-year functional warranty (see data sheet).

Execution (more detailed information can be found in the data sheet)

  • The planning of the joint dimension (materials and movements must be taken into account). The joint flanks should run parallel (max. 3° deviation).
  • When processing with paints, coatings, sealants, natural stones, please inquire about compatibility.
  • Select the appropriate band dimension from the table (datasheet).
  • The tape must be laid at least 2 mm inwards from the front edge of the joint flank.
  • The ends of the ribbon and the corners of the strip are bluntly pushed.
  • The self-adhesive must be inserted when laid horizontally downwards.
