Efficient room control with X-AIRCONTOL

Increasing requirements for energy efficiency and current EU regulations require intelligent control solutions for ventilation and air conditioning technology. TROX combines knowledge from all areas of ventilation technology to create an energy-efficient overall system. From the e.g. X-CUBE central unit to the volume flow controllers, heating and cooling components to air-water systems, the networked overall technology offers enormous economic and ecological advantages. The extremely flexible system can be used excellently for individual room controls or for the control of several rooms, even without a connection to a central air conditioning and ventilation unit.

The TROX system X-AIRCONTROL combines the well-known, historically grown solution approach, in which the disciplines such as measurement, control and control technology (I&C), electrical and ventilation are often planned and built separately. The X-AIRCONTROL system works across disciplines and thus creates a new innovative solution approach.

The focus is primarily on individual room control of volume flow and water circulation depending on demand. Evaluation of temperature, air quality, humidity and occupancy not only noticeably improves air quality and zone comfort, but also significantly reduces operating costs.

Simple configuration

X-AIRCONTROL does not require any programming knowledge. Control is easy by entering the desired parameters in a browser-based user interface. The controller uses sensors to record the room data and autonomously regulates the connected components. This data is passed on through the Plug & Play strategy. The agreements between the trades are significantly reduced, as the data points in the system are coordinated with each other. This saves time and, above all, costs during planning and installation. The X-AIRCONTROL system communicates with the building management system via Ethernet network using the open protocol standards HTTP, BACnet IP and Modbus TCP.
