Description

ME110 all-weather film is used for airtight, windproof and watertight bonding to the building structure in the window and façade area. Especially for connections in the roof and balcony area, as well as for components in contact with the ground, the 1.5 mm thick film is used for sealing as described in DIN 18531, requirements according to DIN SPEC 20000-201 and DIN 18533, requirements according to DIN SPEC 20000-202.

As a fleece version, it can be plastered over and painted over directly. It has excellent adhesion to standard construction substrates such as concrete, masonry, wood, metals, many plastics, rigid PVC and various cold bitumen.

10-year warranty

ME110 is part of our i3 waterproofing system and can therefore be combined with many other waterproofing products. For waterproofing with our i3 system, we offer a 10-year functional warranty (see data sheet).

Execution (more detailed information can be found in the data sheet)

  • The planning of the connection dimension (materials and movements must be taken into account)
  • The adhesive surfaces must above all be dry and free of oil, grease, dust or other anti-adhesive components.
  • Carefully press firmly with a pressure roller.
  • Air pockets are to be avoided.
  • In principle, the foil must be installed without tension.
  • For overlap bonding, we recommend the Primer ME902 spray primer.
  • We recommend a primer with ME901 Butyl & Bitumen Primer, ME902 Butyl & Bitumen Spray Primer or ME904 Butyl & Bitumen Primer Eco, especially on highly porous and moist substrates as well as at very low temperatures.
