The highly insulated Teckentrup Industrie Sectional Doors SW 80 are particularly suitable for cold stores and warehouses in the food industry. Here, the energy requirement for a constant hall temperature is particularly high. Our products achieve the high thermal effect by combining many structural features: The double-walled, 80 mm thick steel panels are foamed with highly insulating polyurethane (PU) and thermally separated from each other.
In addition, the door leaf is equipped with a rot-free double seal. As a result, they achieve the extremely low UD value of 0.58 W/(m²K)*. A quality that effectively minimizes cold or heat losses and noticeably reduces energy costs. Due to its high stability, the special door is also suitable for use in windy areas (e.g. in mountainous or coastal regions).
Constantly increasing requirements for energy efficiency (e.g. according to EnEV) require improved insulation values and performance properties not only for the façades, but also for the large-scale industrial doors. When developing our highly insulating 80 mm doors, we studied the thermal insulation effect of conventional doors and found constructive solutions that guarantee less energy loss.
