More Over

The appealing visual impression of the Main sandstone white-grey is characterised by its light basic colour, coupled with a subtle, pleasantly invigorating pattern. Due to the positive overall effect and at the same time granted integrity in the surrounding image, this material is particularly appreciated. Due to its qualitative properties, frost resistance, and good resistance to acids caused by environmental pollution, this material is widely used, especially in open spaces and facades. Numerous historical and modern objects bear witness to this.

The quarries of the white-grey Main sandstone have been mined for over 1000 years and are still the most productive and consistent quarries with fine-grained, whitish light sandstone in Germany.

The regional white-grey Main sandstone is a particularly sustainable building material.
