GM RAILING® DOUBLE is a very filigree glass railing system with even, stress-free glass support – in combination with a compact U-profile.
Thanks to the full-surface bonding and the interlocking of the U-profile and glass module on both sides, the overall system is exceptionally stable. The force to be dissipated in the event of a load is dissipated into the ground via both profile flanks, making the system twice as resistant.
The glass railing system is perfectly protected against moisture: Due to the full-surface bonding of the glass and U-profile, water cannot penetrate in the first place. Sealing planes, foils and sheets can be optimally connected. A deflector profile optionally creates a second sealing level.
GM RAILING® DOUBLE Laminated safety glass is manufactured with the highly transparent Trosifol® UltraClear PVB interlayer from kuraray: As a customer, you benefit from very high edge stability and the lowest yellow value index (< 0.4) on the market with proven salt water spray test (results according to TÜV-Süd laboratory test in accordance with ASTM B117). Sustainability, durability and brilliant colour fastness, especially in combination with float glass extra white, are guaranteed.
Connection of the glass railing system:
GM RAILING® DOUBLE is optimised for the connection of external façade cladding. Façade sheets including butt connector sheets, HPL façade panels, plasterboard and much more can be integrated without any problems. The glass modules can also be hung after the façade cladding has been installed.
