More Over
According to DIN 4095, drainage layers must be arranged on ceilings that are to be covered with earth so that excess water can be safely drained away. As a rule, drainage layers are applied over the entire surface, not only under greenery, but also under pavements, terraces, play areas, etc. Floradrain® FD 60 neo, Stabilodrain® and Elastodrain® can even be used under pavements. With correspondingly high drainage elements, puddles can be bridged or the underside sewer system can be used for impoundment irrigation. This is of particular interest for intensive greening on zero-degree roofs. Drainage elements of the Floratherm® type even have a "general building authority approval" as additional thermal insulation.

Installation Instructions
This installation instructions describe the essential steps of using this product. In addition, please observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the provisions of occupational health and safety.
1) Laying:
The Elastodrain® panels must always be laid with the studs facing upwards. The panels must be aligned in such a way that the rebate protruding at the top can always be placed on the rebate of the neighbouring slab at the bottom.
If the Elastodrain® panels are to be driven on, e.g. to apply the substrate, it is advisable to secure them against slipping beforehand with two connectors per joint.
To protect against UV radiation, the drainage panels must be covered with a system filter after installation.
A vibratory plate can be used to compact the ballast, but it must be taken into account that the work is taking place on a roof surface. Select the vibratory plate accordingly so that the vibrations of the ceiling plate do not become too great.
Foundations/back supports are built on the filter fleece.
2) Cutting:
The drainage plates can be cut with an electric cutter. When cutting, care must be taken to ensure that the layers that have already been laid are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.
Above roof drains, the drainage panels are to be cut out in size to match the opening of the inspection shaft to be installed above.
